The only person who can kill Thomas is him only. Dr Holford, a member of the British Union of Fascists, is a doctor named Thomas, who lies to him about his health because he wants to see him kill himself.
Throughout the season, Thomas used to go after his doctor. But a twist came out; he decided not to kill himself. When 11 o clock strikes the Tower clock, Thomas says, ‘Eleventh hour, Armistice, Peace at Last’.
While saying this, he referred to World War I. It is a way to mark a rebirth for him as a character who built so much experience during the first World War.
